Welcome to the new Mooloolaba Beach Festival!  The new-look weekend of events is a celebration of sand, surf and beach culture on the Sunshine Coast.

We’ve put together a program of events that offer a range of experiences, including ocean swims (some old and some new!) paddling events that both elites and weekend paddlers will enjoy and community events that the whole family, of any age, can participate in.

Join us for an action-packed weekend on the Sunshine Coast, from sunrise to sunset.

The Mooloolaba Beach Festival, Presented by Milk & Co, is a feature on Queensland’s ocean swimming calendar and continues to attract swimmers from all over Australia.

The main event, a one mile (1.6km) course is well within reach for beginners and novice ocean swimmers an ideal step up from traditional short course events.

The 5.0km Marathon distance is a great option for seasoned swimmers and aspiring triathletes looking to push their limits.

Choose a distance, start training and kickstart your summer!

“Every swimmer who raises $250 or more for our Official Charity Partner, The Kids Cancer Project, will receive a full refund of their entry fee.  The fundraising period ends 30 days following the event, so there’s plenty of time to continue fundraising after your swim too!”

Kids Cancer Project

The Kids’ Cancer Project is a national charity dedicated to supporting childhood cancer research. Kids’ get different types of cancer to adults and research is discovering more targeted and effective ways to help kids while minimising the long- term side effects treatment can bring.

The Kids’ Cancer Project was founded in 1993 by Col Reynolds who decided to step up and do something to help children with cancer. Twenty years later more than $36 million has been committed to funding research projects across Australia, thanks to community support.

Science is making an impact, providing new treatment options and giving hope to the 950 children and young adolescents diagnosed each year.

If you believe science is the solution please join with us. By working together, we will make a difference to help kids with cancer and their families.
